TIMELINE EXTENDED FOR OMNIBUS & COVID19 ECONOMIC RELIEF

Congress is passing a continuing resolution (CR) to avoid a government shutdown tomorrow and to give themselves another week to negotiate an agreement on both the Omnibus FY21 federal funding package and a COVID-19 relief bill. Highlights of the proposed Senate Bipartisan COVID Relief $908 billion package can be found here.

This timeline extension also gives you another week to make your voice heard for the arts with your members of Congress. Please take two minutes now to ensure Congress includes support for the arts and culture sector in the FY 2021 Omnibus funding and COVID-19 relief legislation by sending an email to Congress
