On Thursday, December 5, 2019, Speaker Nancy Pelosi called on the country to repair itself and she believes that the means of doing so are through the arts! She went on to discuss the healing powers of the arts and how they can help us all find common ground and UNITE.
"Imagination, the creativity of it all, again, to share an experience in a way that puts aside your differences. Imagination, put yourself in another person's shoes. I think that that plus a discussion, people talking to each other -- we all have much more in common than divides us and we have to find that common ground."
