Arts Insider Political Briefings
Last fall, Arts Action Fund PAC Chairman Lyndon Boozer hosted our first in a series of Zoom quarterly insider political and policy briefings. These Arts Insider Briefings are an opportunity to ask questions or just listen in on a robust 30-minute Zoom discussion about what's happening in Congress, pending congressional deals impacting the arts, and long-range election forecasting. Throughout the next year, we will feature additional Arts Action Fund policy advisors, such as Bill Harper, partner at Harper Downing and former Chief of Staff to Rep. Betty McCollum; David Reid, Senior Policy Advisor at Brownstein, the largest lobbying firm in Washington D.C.; as well as key Members of Congress. Learn more about all of our policy advisors by clicking on their photos below.
NOTE: The Political Insider Briefing will be recorded for archival purposes only, so that Arts Action Fund members who could not attend live can watch later. All speaker remarks are “off the record” and not for distribution. All remarks represent the personal opinions and best estimations of the individual speakers.
