Americans for the Arts and the Arts Action Fund President and CEO, Robert L. Lynch, was named to 2018 NPT Power & Influence Top 50, an annual list in its 21st year highlighting the nonprofit sector’s top working executives for innovation and influence on the broader sector. This is the fourth year Lynch has been recognized by the publication for his leadership for Americans for the Arts. He was previously recognized in 2012, 2013, and 2014.

“I am honored to be part of this year’s NPT Power & Influence Top 50 as testimony to the hard work of the staff, board, supporters, and members of Americans for the Arts,” said Lynch. “The arts are uniting people and transforming communities across America, and I am pleased that Americans for the Arts helps extend this beacon of hope across our country through leadership and resource development for the arts, including our current fight for federal support for the arts and humanities.”

The 2018 honorees were selected from a group of roughly 300 executives. A committee of NonProfit Times staff, contributors, and a few executives were involved in the selection process. Honorees will be feted next month at the NPT Power & Influence Top 50 gala at The National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
