ArtsVote 2020 Chair Ben Folds interviews U.S. Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici of Oregon about arts education policies, legislation, and funding at the federal level. Ben visited Congresswoman Bonamici in her office on Capitol Hill on February 6, 2020, to discuss current and future legislation that could help expand STEM education to STEAM with the addition of arts education in schools at the local level and drive innovation in the workforce for the future. Congresswoman Bonamici is the founder and co-chair of the Congressional STEAM Caucus, an active member of the Congressional Arts Caucus, and serves on the House Committee on Education and Labor.
